Trump Sarcastically: "I Can Escape to Russia"

U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump mocked Georgia district attorney Fani Willis in response to her decision to set his bail at $200,000 due to charges of interfering in the 2020 election. This comment was made on his own social media platform (Truth Social), where Trump suggested that the attorney general might be afraid of him escaping to Russia. He wrote: "Willis thought I could run away: I could run far away, maybe to Russia... I would live in a room with a golden dome with Vladimir, and no one would know my way after that." The state of Georgia had issued an arrest warrant for the former president, according to "Russia Today."
