Title: Minister Bassam Mawlawi Discusses Cooperation with UNDP

The UNDP Resident Representative in Lebanon, Melanie Hawkesin, affirmed during her meeting with Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi at the ministry, "the program's constant support for Minister Mawlawi's efforts and the ministry in its assigned tasks." During the meeting, the ongoing collaboration and coordination between the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities and the program were discussed. The discussion detailed the ministry's current efforts to enhance readiness and oversee the work of all its affiliated departments in preparation to respond to any developments. Mawlawi also met with Abd al-Masih and Shihab to discuss the cooperation between the ministry and UNDP. Additionally, Mawlawi met with MP Adib Abd al-Masih, and then with MP Akram Shihab, to discuss general conditions and matters concerning their regions.
