Security Measures Report for October

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued a statement on Monday stating: "As a result of the security measures taken by army units in various Lebanese regions during October 2023, 781 individuals of different nationalities were arrested for their involvement in various crimes and offenses, including drug trafficking, theft, smuggling, possession of weapons and prohibited items, and roaming within Lebanese territory without legal residency, as well as driving vehicles and motorcycles without legal documents. The seized items included 41 military weapons of various types, 4 hand grenades, 4 RPG shells, quantities of light and medium ammunition, several vehicles and motorcycles, in addition to a quantity of drugs and various materials prepared for smuggling and several communication devices. The detainees, along with the seized items, were handed over to the relevant authorities for necessary action."
