Walid Jumblatt Expresses Solidarity with the People of Sweida

President Walid Jumblatt made a phone call to the Sheikh of the Druze sect in Syria, Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, expressing his solidarity with him and with all free people in Sweida and all free Syrians who are rising for dignity and freedom, for a decent life, and for all legitimate national demands raised by the Syrian people in all regions. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity of honorable nationalists in Syria around their rights, the unity of Syria, and the freedom of its people, as well as the need to be liberated from the oppressive regime that has been in power for more than 60 years.
