Operation to Raid and Arrest Drug Dealers in Shweifat

A force from the Lebanese Army, assisted by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided locations in the Shweifat Desert area, specifically on School Street, where wanted individuals for drug trafficking and promotion were hiding. Seven individuals were arrested: Lebanese citizens (A.Z), (A.Z), and (J.A); Syrians (P.J), (A.F), and (A.K); and a Palestinian (P.J). Additionally, 1,060 envelopes of cocaine and crack cocaine, 26 balls of hashish, and 16 envelopes of marijuana were seized, along with three illegal vehicles and a sum of money. The seizures were handed over, and investigations with the arrested individuals commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
