Iftar at the Courtyard of a Church in Rome

The Islamic Cultural Association (Al-Huda Mosque) organized an iftar in collaboration with the Church of San Felice in Rome and the Saint Felice House Association, under the slogan "Iftar of Brotherhood, the Church and the Mosque Together for a Happier World." Hundreds of fasting individuals participated, served by members of the church's congregation, in the presence of a large number of representatives from various Arab and foreign communities, along with representatives from the Municipality of Rome and Italian journalists. Father Mario remarked, "Some may think I’m exaggerating, but my church and I strive for a world without geographical boundaries, where brotherhood and sharing a meal prevail. The future demands this of us, and there is no alternative except failure." For his part, Imam Mohammed bin Mohammed of Al-Huda Mosque thanked those responsible for the church, especially Father Mario, and considered this meeting a pinnacle of Islamic-Christian coexistence.
