The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, discussed with the Lebanese Ambassador in Oman, Albert Samaha, the logistical arrangements for receiving the medical assistance offered as a gift from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to Lebanon in the second week of September. This assistance includes 20 tons of emergency and specialized care medicines.
