Users of the social media platform Twitter reported technical issues today, Saturday, confirming that they are unable to access tweets. Many users complained of being unable to connect to Twitter's homepage, in addition to some being unable to launch the app on their phones and tweets not appearing. Reuters reported that the website DownDetector, which specializes in monitoring outages, noted that thousands of people complained about a technical failure on Twitter. Users also noted an outage that prevents them from browsing their tweets and displayed a message saying, "There seems to be a problem... please try reloading." Twitter, which did not immediately comment on the latest technical glitch, has made several important updates to its website and app under its new ownership. The platform released an update on Friday aimed at preventing anyone who is not registered or logged in from viewing tweets.
