The book fair held at the Forum in Beirut was flooded with water due to heavy rainfall in the city. The Palace of Justice in Beirut also suffered flooding. Later, the management of "Forum de Beyrouth" clarified that "the roof of the forum building was damaged due to the heavy rains, which caused one of the drainage pipelines to break, affecting four wings of the International Book Fair in a confined area of the exhibition. Insurance experts were present to cover the damage costs for all affected parties, and maintenance work is ongoing to repair the issue." The management confirmed that "the fair will remain open to visitors during the previously announced hours."
