The Minister of Finance in the caretaker government, Youssef Khalil, discussed with the Director General of Customs, Raymond Khoury, the matter of containers containing lithium batteries at the Port of Beirut. He requested Khoury to follow up on this issue with the relevant parties at the port and to find a quick solution to prevent any risks, should they arise, or anything that threatens public safety.
