Bolivia Cuts Diplomatic Relations with Israel

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia announced today, Tuesday, that the government has decided to sever its diplomatic relations with Israel, accusing it of committing crimes against humanity in its attacks on the Gaza Strip. Bolivia had previously cut diplomatic ties with Israel in 2009 in protest against its attacks on Gaza. In 2020, the government led by former President Jeanine Áñez restored relations.
