Thousands of Israelis began pouring into central Tel Aviv early this Tuesday as a "Day of Disruptions" was announced across the country to protest the judicial reform plan. Organizers of the protests plan "various decisive actions aimed at putting an end to the judicial reform." Roads are expected to be closed. The "Day of Resistance" was scheduled for yesterday, Monday, but was postponed. According to the organizers, today's protests "will mark the beginning of an unprecedented week of civil resistance and defiance against the judicial reform." Israeli opposition leaders have called for escalating protests while the governing coalition continues with its plans to repeal the "reasonableness standard" to prevent the annulment of government and ministerial decisions based on their "reasonableness."
