U.S. Treasury: We Are Looking for Ways to Reduce Funding Flowing to Hamas

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen revealed that the Biden administration is exploring "other ways to reduce the funding flowing to Hamas." In an interview with Bloomberg, she noted that the Treasury has "taken many steps to impose sanctions to reduce Hamas's funding sources." She added, "We know that many people have been killed in Gaza, and the U.S. does not have independent confirmation of the numbers." She stated, "We have not yet seen many global consequences from the Israel-Gaza war."
