The Turkish football club "Besiktas" announced on Tuesday the failure of its negotiations to sign both Saudi Al-Nassr star, Brazilian Anderson Talisca, and Spanish defender Sergio Ramos due to financial disputes. Besiktas had already entered negotiations with Ramos to sign him "for free" after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract on June 30, but also reached out to Al-Nassr officials to obtain Talisca's signature; however, the Turkish club confirmed the failure of both transfers.
Besiktas stated in a message published on its account on the "X" platform: "Here is our club's statement regarding professional football players Anderson Talisca and Sergio Ramos who have been linked to our club in print media, visual media, and social media."
It added: "Players Talisca and Ramos, who hold an important place in the global football market, were on our club's transfer agenda."
It continued: "In this regard, we contacted both Anderson Talisca and his club (Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia) and Sergio Ramos (a free agent), but negotiations with the players ended due to disputes regarding financial matters."
