Fuel prices in Lebanon have experienced yet another hike this Friday, affecting both grades of gasoline and diesel, in line with the latest pricing schedule.
According to Fadi Abou Chakra, representative of fuel distributors, the price of 95-octane gasoline rose by 49,000 Lebanese pounds, reaching 2,679,000 pounds.
The price of 98-octane gasoline also increased by 49,000 pounds, bringing it to 2,697,000 pounds.
Meanwhile, diesel recorded the largest increase of 52,000 pounds, now costing 2,539,000 pounds.
Consequently, the latest increases range between 49,000 and 52,000 pounds, with the price of 98-octane gasoline nearing the 2.7 million pound threshold.
