Beirut Governor Closes Restaurant with Red Wax Seal

The Governor of Beirut, Marwan Aboud, issued a decision numbered 788 on August 18, 2023, concerning the closure of a restaurant in Beirut with a red wax seal due to food poisoning cases among some citizens, according to a statement from the Beirut Municipality. The text of the decision stated: "Based on the inspection by health monitors in the Public Health Department, and based on the proposal of the Acting Director of the Public Health Department." As a result, it was decided to close and seal the "Jihad" restaurant, located at property number 1665 in the Mazraa area - Tarik Jedideh, due to its violations of health regulations, non-compliance with required health standards, and causing food poisoning cases that threaten public safety.
