The Russian Ministry of Defense has honored the crew of the Russian Armed Forces aboard the "Ivan Khurs" for successfully repelling an attack by Ukrainian drone boats in the Bosphorus area. The Ministry's statement noted: "The crew members of the Ivan Khurs ship, who repelled an attack by drone boats in the Bosporus region, have been honored."

It has a displacement of approximately four thousand tons, a length of around 100 meters, and a cruising range of over eight thousand nautical miles, having joined the Black Sea Fleet in 2018.
