The governor of the Littoral region in Cameroon indicated today, Sunday, that a four-story building collapsed in Douala, the country's commercial capital, resulting in at least 12 deaths and injuries to others. The governor stated, "12 people have died and others are in the hospital receiving medical care," adding that the total number of injured is 31. He also mentioned that the situation is under control and rescue teams are working to ensure that no one is left under the rubble. The cause of the building collapse is still unclear.
