The White House: We Did Not Give Israel a Deadline to End Fighting in Gaza

White House National Security Advisor John Feiner announced on Thursday that the United States has not provided Israel with a specific deadline to end combat operations with the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) in Gaza, and that if the war were to stop now, Hamas would still pose a threat. Feiner stated during a security forum that the United States believes many of Israel's security objectives remain in the southern region of the territory.
