An interview text with the media revealed today, Friday, that "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Canada insists on Ankara approving Sweden's request to join NATO before resuming the export of drone cameras to Turkey." Erdoğan said, "The United States agreed with Canada on this matter, but Sweden's NATO request will be decided by the Turkish Parliament." Erdoğan had referred the bill to Parliament for consideration in late October.
