Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson indicated today that Sweden intends to provide a new military support package to Ukraine worth 3.4 billion kronor (313.5 million dollars), primarily consisting of ammunition and spare parts for previously sent weapon systems. Johnson stated at a press conference, "We must remain prepared for the reality that this could be a long-term war, and we also need a long-term vision to continuously support the platforms we send to Ukraine." This new military support package will be the thirteenth sent by Sweden to Ukraine since the start of the war, raising the total value of Sweden's military support to approximately 20 billion kronor.
