An American man shot a six-year-old girl and her father after a basketball rolled into his backyard. William White and his daughter Kinsley sustained serious injuries during the shooting in North Carolina, while many children were playing basketball that had rolled into Robert Singletary's yard. According to witnesses, "Singletary ran from his house after the shooting."
A manhunt is currently underway in North Carolina for Robert Singletary, 24, who shot the 6-year-old and her parents after the basketball incident. Kinsley's mother stated, "He looked at my husband and daughter and said he would kill them." The suspect remained at large until Thursday morning, and local police warned residents that he is armed and dangerous.
This is not the first time Singletary has resorted to violence, as he was accused in December of assaulting his girlfriend with a heavy hammer and keeping her in his apartment for two hours while she was bleeding.
