Pope Francis: I Feel

Pope Francis, who is suffering from pneumonia, announced today, Wednesday, that he feels a significant improvement in his health, although he still needs to avoid speaking too much. The Pope stated at the beginning of his weekly general audience, "My health is much better, but I feel tired when I speak a lot," and he asked one of his aides to read his speech on his behalf. The Pope arrived at the weekly audience hall in the Vatican walking with a cane. He spoke briefly and in a very low voice at the end of the meeting, calling for prayers for the people of Ukraine and Israel, as well as the occupied Palestinian territories who are suffering from the consequences of war. He said, "War is always a defeat; no one wins; everyone loses except for arms traders."
