Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology Mukhtar Babayev stated today, Saturday, that "there is a general consensus on Azerbaijan hosting the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP29 next year." During the COP28 summit in Dubai, Babayev said, "I am pleased to announce that there is a general agreement on Azerbaijan's nomination to host COP29."
