This marked the first time Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II took on the role of representing the King in his absence. Born in 2005, he is the youngest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, following Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, and Princess Salma. Prince Hashem graduated in June of this year from King's Academy in Madaba after completing his secondary education. He was also seen at the wedding ceremony of his brother, the Crown Prince, accompanying Princess Rajwa to the palace for the marriage contract.
