The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced today, Tuesday, in a statement that "as a result of the intensive investigations and inquiries conducted by the specialized units in the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces, information was gathered about an unidentified individual carrying out motorcycle thefts from various areas in the Mount Lebanon governorate. Subsequently, field procedures and inquiries began to identify and apprehend him. As a result of the follow-up, the branch was able to identify him. His name is M. F. Q. (born in 1987, Lebanese). On 31-8-2023, after precise surveillance and monitoring, one of their patrols arrested him in a well-laid ambush in Al-Jnah. During the investigation, he admitted to several motorcycle thefts from different areas in Mount Lebanon. He also confessed to using drugs." Legal actions were taken against him, and he was referred to the appropriate authority under the direction of the competent judiciary.
