The Times: Israel Established a Pumping System to Flood Hamas Tunnels

The British newspaper "The Times" reported today, citing an unnamed source, that the founder of Blackwater successfully convinced Israel to purchase equipment to flood the tunnels of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. The newspaper noted that the Israeli army has set up a pumping system in northern Gaza to use seawater to flood Hamas's network of tunnels. The British paper also reported that estimates from Israeli military analysts indicate that the length of the Hamas tunnel network surpasses 300 miles, according to an intelligence officer quoted by the newspaper. Earlier today, Israeli government spokesman Elon Levy stated that Israel is working on developing suitable methods to destroy Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip.
