The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq," which includes armed Shiite factions, announced today, Sunday, that it targeted the city of Eilat in Israel in "support" of the Gaza Strip and in response to the "atrocities being committed against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and elderly." The resistance stated in a statement attributed to it that it targeted "a site in Umm al-Rashrash Eilat, using appropriate weapons," affirming its "continuation to strike the enemy's strongholds." The same factions had announced on November 5 of this month targeting the same city.
