Magnetic Storms Hit Earth This Week

A Russian expert has warned about sporadic magnetic storms, confirming they can cause significant health issues. According to internal medicine specialist Savinch Alieva, as reported by Russian media, a magnetic storm hit Earth last Wednesday (October 18), and more storms are expected to follow soon, indicating that we should pay attention to our health.

The Russian expert explained that during a magnetic storm, symptoms such as insomnia, headaches, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, and joint pain may appear. She added that individuals react differently to this phenomenon; some experience drowsiness while others may suffer from psychological and emotional disturbances and panic attacks.

She advised that during these disturbances, it is essential to drink more clean water and maintain a sleep and rest schedule. Additionally, it is not recommended to consume excessive salty foods as they disrupt the nervous system.

It is noteworthy that scientists are warning of a full wave of magnetic effects this October. In particular, from October 25 to 27, the intensity of the magnetic storm is expected to reach 5 degrees, and from October 29 to 30, it will rise to 6 degrees. Experts attribute these magnetic storms to solar activity, which has become very high, possibly reaching the peak of the current solar cycle.

NASA has developed an early warning system called DAGGER to alert about solar storms.
