Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal revealed on Tuesday that the government plans to build new fortifications and military infrastructure in the northeastern regions adjacent to Russia and Belarus, at a cost of approximately 35 million dollars. Shmyhal stated, "At the request of Kharkiv and Chernihiv, we allocate 911.5 million hryvnias (24.7 million dollars) for Kharkiv and 363 million (9.8 million dollars) for Chernihiv to construct military engineering structures and fortifications."
