Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced in a televised speech after chairing a ministerial meeting on Wednesday that his country will "clean" the Tel Rifaat area and other regions in northern Syria soon. He stated, "Soon we will clean the Tel Rifaat area and other regions in northern Syria from destructive organizations."
Erdogan added, "I say to all supporters of the destructive organizations at our southern borders, which seek separation, that we see your plans and understand them, and we will never allow your plans to be implemented. We will destroy the sites of terrorist organizations right over their heads in northern Syria and Iraq."
On another note, he announced that "Turkey is gradually controlling inflation," adding: "There is no slight deviation from our goal for sustainable growth."
