Deputy Strida Jajaa confirmed during a meeting of the Lebanese Forces party's centers in the Batroun district, held in Maarab, that "we will not back down from our efforts to elect a president for the republic who is a president in every sense of the word, whose first loyalty is to the homeland, and whose primary concern is the implementation of the constitution and laws, bold, with a firm and steadfast stance, and unyielding in the face of pressures because the establishment of the state and the restoration of its dignity is the fundamental gateway to salvation."
She urged her constituents in Batroun to "be fully prepared for the Jibran National Committee elections that will take place on Sunday, June 11." Jajaa also addressed the issue of the postponement of municipal elections and encouraged attendees to "continue following the preparations they had started as if the elections had not been postponed."
