The "Beach Sweets" factory in the Qalila area of the Tyre district has been closed with red wax after it was found to be non-compliant with general food safety standards, using expired raw materials and harboring cockroaches in the refrigerators and preparation area. This action followed a tour organized by the Ministry of Economy in the south and the State Security Office in Tyre, targeting establishments in the Dier Qanun, Ras Al-Ain, Qalila, Al-Bayad, and Al-Mansouri areas, based on the directive of the public prosecutor in the south, Judge Raif Ramadan. A report was filed for the violation, and the seized goods were confiscated. The public prosecutor in the south, Judge Raif Ramadan, was contacted, who ordered the factory to be closed and sealed with red wax.
