The Spanish investment bank "Alantra" announced today, Wednesday, that it is in the process of appointing a team at its new office in Dubai to expand its operations in the Gulf region. The bank added in a statement that it is conducting interviews with candidates and hopes to announce new appointments before the end of the year. A spokesperson for Alantra told Reuters that the team, led by Saad Ashraf as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Alantra’s Dubai branch, will focus on healthcare, real estate, and consumer sectors. The investment bank also stated that it has moved a significant part of its global investment banking team for marine and shipping activities to Dubai.
