MP Razi Al-Hajj, a member of the "Strong Republic" bloc, announced during his visit to the Municipality of Biskinta the submission of a "draft law to change Biskinta from a village into a city." He affirmed that "this proposal is the beginning of efforts to make Biskinta the first model city in Mount Lebanon, with plans to develop a comprehensive urban plan for Biskinta."
Al-Hajj discussed with the mayor, the deputy mayor, and members of the municipal council the conditions of the town, particularly the need to regulate the presence of Syrians and foreigners there, in accordance with proposals and measures prepared by his office. He also informed the municipal council about preparations for several projects that will be announced gradually. Additionally, the meeting included a presentation on the ongoing preparations for the "Biskinta Festival," which will take place on September 7, 8, 9, and 10 under the patronage of Al-Hajj.
