Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas stated today, Saturday, that "the use of the United States' veto against a UN Security Council resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza makes it complicit in what he described as war crimes against Palestinians." Abbas said in a statement issued by the presidency, "He holds the United States responsible for the bloodshed of Palestinian children, women, and elderly in the Gaza Strip."
