The Lebanese Army's Intelligence Directorate managed to free the Iraqi national Badr Daffar Sayer, who was kidnapped from an apartment in the city of Jounieh.
Details reveal that a wanted individual (M.J.), accompanied by unknown armed men impersonating security forces, kidnapped Badr Daffar Sayer from inside an apartment in Jounieh on 20/4/2023 and demanded a large ransom from his family, according to the Lebanese Army.
Immediately, the Intelligence Directorate began precise monitoring and security measures, raiding the hideouts of the kidnappers, and succeeded in liberating the hostage in the Sharawna area on 23/4/2023. The situation is being followed up to arrest those involved in the kidnapping process.
