Biden Orders Deployment of 3,000 American Troops in Europe

U.S. President Joe Biden has authorized the Pentagon to utilize up to 3,000 reserve troops for deployment in Europe to bolster American forces there in support of the Atlantic Resolve operation. According to the statement issued by the White House, the number of units deployed should not exceed 3,000 members at any one time. The allowance for the deployment of 3,000 troops comes after the president's five-day trip to Europe, which included stops in the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Finland, aimed at demonstrating the strength of the international alliance against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
