Bohabib After Meeting with the French Delegation: Military Support is Essential for Implementing Resolution 1701

Foreign Minister Abdullah Bohabib welcomed the full implementation of Resolution 1701 following his meeting with the French delegation, noting that Israeli violations have exceeded 30,000 since 2006. He stressed that Israeli incursions on the Lebanese border must also stop. He called for the demarcation of land borders and the withdrawal from occupied areas and points, as well as a cessation of using Lebanese airspace for attacks on Syria. He deemed that support for the Lebanese army is essential for the implementation of Resolution 1701 and called for support for Lebanese governmental institutions.
