Chinese Foreign Ministry: China Sees Improvement in Saudi-Iranian Relations

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed on Monday that following China's dialogue with Saudi Arabia and Iran, the two countries have taken steps to enhance their relations and lead the formation of a "wave of reconciliation" in the Middle East. The minister stated in a statement that China "appreciates the correct decision made by the Iranian side," adding that Beijing will continue to support Middle Eastern countries in exploring development paths that align with their local conditions. Wang also mentioned that it is impossible to achieve a fundamental solution to the Iranian nuclear issue without a comprehensive and effective implementation of the nuclear agreement.
