Will Ukraine Accept the Proposal from the Belarusian President?

A senior adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mykhailo Podolyak, excluded any ceasefire in the war that involves the presence of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory, stating that this would imply "Russia's right to remain in the occupied territories." He said, "This is absolutely unacceptable." These remarks came following a call for an immediate ceasefire from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. For its part, Russia considered that a ceasefire cannot currently achieve the goals of the "special military operation," but it will discuss the matter with the Belarusian president.
