White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced today, Wednesday, that the United States has discussed a timeline for military operations in Gaza with Israel. In a phone interview with "Reuters," largely focused on Ukraine defense matters, he said, "We have spoken with them about timelines. I don't want to share that because Israel has already sent specific details regarding the location of its ground operations, and I don't want to be the person who publishes those timelines." He continued, "I will only say that we have talked with them about what they are thinking regarding the duration and how that fits into a long-term strategy to address this issue that goes beyond just military means."
