The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, stated that Hezbollah supports a presidential candidate who "does not undermine the resistance and serves as a bridge of communication between us and others, including our political opponents." Raad continued, "It has been said that they have agreed on a candidate's name, but in reality, we do not know if this is a maneuver among some of them against each other, aimed at undermining our candidate and removing them from consideration to reintroduce their actual candidate. Each party hides its true candidate under its cloak, while the candidate they supposedly agreed upon is not someone they truly support for the presidential election; they merely intended for this candidate to help us withdraw our candidate."
Raad emphasized that "sticking to our rights and maintaining our integrity in confronting the crisis will lead us to what we want, even if it takes time." He noted that the maneuvers they engage in only prolong the presidential void, and we are eager to complete the requirement.
