This led to a verbal altercation that escalated into gunfire, resulting in the death of the bride's brother and turning the entire wedding into a funeral in Abi Samra.
Videos circulated showing the victim, Moamen Al-Bayrouti, entering to greet the bride and groom before he was shot by the groom's brother just minutes later, over the argument regarding who would drive the bride. This wedding in Tripoli tragically transformed into a mourning event.
