He stated, "The Republican Party will nominate Trump to run in the upcoming presidential election in the United States." McCarthy added, "Trump's policies made America stronger." He noted that "inflation during the previous president was much lower than it is under President Joe Biden," referring to the rise in fuel prices under the current administration. The next presidential election in the United States is set to take place in November 2024. President Biden has previously announced his intention to run for election as a Democrat, describing himself as "the best candidate to defeat Trump."
