Political writer and analyst Elias Zghibi pointed out that the resistance claims, "What is happening at Lebanon's southern borders is a diversion by Israel to relieve pressure on Gaza." He added, "It is a distraction of the media and public opinion from the seriousness of the destruction and massacres happening there." In an exclusive interview with "Waradana," he noted that it seems the goal is to divert attention from the massacre under the guise of support, implementing the theory of unifying fronts, which has proven to be unfounded and empty since Iran distanced itself from the war in planning, execution, and events.
Elias Zghibi confirms to "Waradana" that Hassan Nasrallah's deep silence indicates that the stance on the war in the region is exclusively determined by Iranian leadership.
Zghibi stated, "Nasrallah's deep silence, coupled with his reliance on weak statements from his deputy and some third-level officials, despite the seriousness of the developments, confirms two things:
1. Decision-making is confined to its Iranian reference, executing without objection.
2. The confusion of the 'resistance axis' in its inability to adhere to its famous theory: 'Unifying fronts.'"
