The head of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, traveled this morning, Saturday, to the Republic of Uganda on an official visit. During the visit, Al-Burhan is expected to hold talks with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to discuss the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, as well as issues of mutual interest. He was bid farewell at Port Sudan International Airport by Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, the Secretary-General of the Sovereign Council, and several ministers. Accompanying him during the visit were the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, and Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufdal.
