Lebanese Ministry of Information Urges Preventive Measures to Protect Journalists

The Lebanese Ministry of Information issued the following statement: "In our concern for the lives and rights of journalists and media personnel, the Ministry of Information urges you to take the necessary preventive measures regarding the safety of your reporters and their teams, who are covering the military actions in southern Lebanon, by providing protective vests and helmets, and by conducting an insurance policy that encompasses all aspects of healthcare, in addition to comprehensive life insurance that covers the risks of working at the border."
