The Eastern Sector Command, in cooperation with the Nepalese Battalion of UNIFIL, inaugurated a project today aimed at improving the living conditions for the residents of the town of Markaba in the Marjeyoun district. UNIFIL officially unveiled its latest project, which involves the advanced installation of solar panels at the Markaba municipality building, thereby reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the living conditions for residents in southern Lebanon. UNIFIL stated in a release that "the main objective of this project is to provide environmentally friendly electricity to the Markaba municipality, thus enhancing its ability to deliver essential services to the residents."
