Six-year-old Lin Taleb passed away eight days after staying with her mother at her grandparents' home in Miniyeh, following her parents' divorce. Two separate medical reports confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted prior to her death.
Details reveal that the mother brought her daughter to Miniyeh Government Hospital with a high fever but returned home despite the doctor’s urgent recommendation for her immediate admission. The next day, the child died at her grandparents' home.
A forensic report indicated bruises on the child's face and swelling of her lips, confirming that she had been sexually assaulted. The father’s family has filed a lawsuit against the mother’s family. Another forensic specialist later corroborated the incident of sexual assault. Meanwhile, the hospital refused to provide any information, and both parents are under investigation.
